Thickness: SPC flooring typically measures approximately 4mm thick, while PVC flooring generally has a thickness of 2mm.
Installation Method: PVC flooring features pressure-sensitive adhesive backing and can be affixed to the floor using adhesive; SPC flooring is installed through interlocking joints between planks, eliminating the need for adhesive.
Environmental Performance: SPC flooring primarily consists of natural stone powder and thermoplastic resin, free from harmful substances like heavy metals and formaldehyde, meeting international environmental standards. PVC flooring, containing plasticizers, exhibits relatively poorer environmental performance.
Wear Resistance and Stability: SPC flooring offers superior wear resistance and scratch resistance due to its rigid core, along with enhanced stability against temperature and humidity fluctuations. Though PVC flooring also offers some wear resistance, its durability and stability are inferior to SPC flooring.
Applications: SPC flooring suits high-traffic environments like homes and commercial spaces. PVC flooring, with its superior elasticity and softness, is ideal for settings requiring enhanced underfoot comfort and safety, such as kindergartens and hospitals.
